Palliative care is a holistic medical approach that focuses on providing specialised care to adults and children who are suffering from severe, chronic, or life-threatening illnesses. Medical practise requires practitioners to spend time with their patients, listening to their family histories and examining the interconnections between genetic, environmental, and behavioural factors that can influence long-term health and chronic disease.

The anti-microtubular impact of Vinca alkaloids derived from Vin cristin and Vin blastin has been demonstrated in their action on tumour cells. Many studies reveal that these chemical elements with demonstrated efficiency against tumour cells in cancer treatment have numerous drawbacks.

Holistic nursing refers to any nursing technique that aims to heal the whole person. In this style of nursing care, a holistic nurse is a certified nurse who treats and manages an illness using a "mind-body-spirit-emotion-environment" approach. Holistic nursing is a philosophy of life and being based on compassion, relationships, and interconnection.

 

Naturopathic medications are defined as a science of various drugs that involves a set of unscientific procedures that are marketed as natural and are typically promoted as self-healing. Naturopathy's beliefs and procedures are based on folk medicine rather than scientific medicine.

 

Traditional medicine is a branch of science that includes knowledge, skills, and practises that are based on principles, theories, beliefs, and experiences that are indigenous to various cultures and are used in the maintenance of health as well as the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of physical and mental illness. When used outside of the traditional culture, it is frequently referred to as alternative medicine. Plant elements have pharmacological effects that are similar to those of conventional medications, according to studies.

 

Palliative care is a holistic, all-encompassing approach to cancer treatment that covers patients' physical, emotional, logistical, and spiritual needs. An interdisciplinary care team consisting of doctors, nurses, specialists, medical social workers, and therapists will focus on enhancing the lives of patients and their families. Medical treatments are being aligned with holistic beliefs, aims, and preferences by this medical team. Physical symptoms such as pain and weariness are addressed, as are emotional problems such as anxiety, fear, and sadness, as well as spiritual assistance.

Traditional Chinese medicine encompasses herbal medication, acupuncture, massage therapy, exercise (qigong), and food therapy, among other treatments. By measuring the pulse, inspecting the tongue, skin, and eyes, and examining the person's eating and sleeping habits and life style, diagnosis in Chinese traditional medicine aims to identify the symptoms to patterns of an underlying disharmony, which is referred to the changes in harmonious interaction in the body.

Occupational therapists employ therapeutic use of common activities to treat wounded, ill, or disabled patients. They treat patients by allowing them to grow, recover, progress, and keep the abilities they need to live and work.

 

Physical therapy is a medical specialty that use biomechanics and kinesiology principles to help patients improve their mobility and physical functions. Diagnosis, prognosis, physical intervention, and patient education are all part of physical therapy.
